8 Malinda Catherine Rohrbaugh was born September 18, 1852 in Codorus, York, Pennsylvania. She married school teacher Wesley Glatfelter in 1873. He was son of farmer George Glatfelter and Christiana Geiselman and was born December 7, 1848 in North Codorus, York, Pennsylvania.
Wesley was on the democratic ticket and was elected county recorder in 1884. In 1887 he ventured into the grocer business and later became a butcher. Wesley died in 1892 from typhoid. Malinda never remarried. She raised 5 daughters all on her own.

He was a son of Pennsylvania railroad fireman Oliver Pious Truett and Sarah Evangeline Bowman and was born September 3, 1877 in North Codorus, York, Pennsylvania.
James served in the Army during the Spanish American War. He enlisted with the 6th Cavalry Troop E on September 17, 1896 and was involved with the battle of San Juan. James' father Oliver saved a small child from in front of an engine in the Harrisburg yards. Oliver would later try to kill his wife in a jealous rage and then turned the gun on himself on February 15, 1888.
